Sleepwise
Object-Srcreen Interaction
Sleepwise was a collaborative concept design for a future sleeping assistant, developed between Panasonic and Parsons and showcased at SXSW 2017. To enhance engagement with the non-interactive early prototype, the Anyways team and I transformed the Sleepwise device into part of an interactive touch-table experience. By incorporating a special layer of conductive material into the prototype, the device could function as a tangible touchpoint on the screen, enabling unique interactions based on its shape and placement.
The result was an engaging touch-table experience that detected the device when placed on the screen, triggering animated narratives to guide participants through the concept and its features. This interactive approach brought the Sleepwise vision to life, allowing participants to explore the product in an intuitive and immersive way.
